I like the convenience of less frequent changes - works out to Spring and Fall with my mileage. What does synthethic oil do for your car in an oil change? What are the benefits?
its the best oil you can run in anything these days, you can run it about 8500 miles without worrying about it,and it does lubricate a lot better and helps keep the engine in better shape,it also keeps the engine running a slight bit cooler, because it lubs better, and the engine will hold up longer, there's nothing better right now that you could do for it,but run a good synthetic oil in it,good luck.
Synthetic oils dont break down as easily under heat or over time as conventional motor oil, and they are even better at lubricating then conventional oil :)
Depending on how many miles are on your car, switching to synthetic could potentially cause leaks because it is a bit more ';fluid'; you could say then convential oil, even if its the same weight(10w30 etc)
Try going synthetic blend for a few oil changes then switching to full synthetic if your car is a high miler (50k+ or so)...
