Can i just keep putting oil in my car without getting an oil change?

if i can for how long? Can i just keep putting oil in my car without getting an oil change?
sure you can, but your engine will give up the ghost a lot sooner .Can i just keep putting oil in my car without getting an oil change?
3000,miles is average on oil change, if it's a oil burner an on it's way to the bone yard. Than keep putting it in.
The oil filter will supposedly stop filtering oil properly after about 4000 miles. So no.
I know of a few people who have done this since the car was new. The sludge builds up in the oil pan but the engine will last about 90,000 miles before it locks up. By that time there is enough room in the pan for about 1.5 to 2 quarts of oil because there is so much sludge in the pan.

The people that did this were running Penzoil and were told they would never have to change their oil. Bulls***t.
no you will be circulating dirty oil....

its like not flossing...eventually your teeth will rot.
Not if you like your car. Change the oil at the intervals in your owner's manual.
depends if you leaking oil or if you want to just keep adding oil so you blow your seals......
NO, NO, NO...
its better to get it changed because sludge could build up and oil changes remove harmful sediment
No but you can go 5 thousand if you like. Run thicker oil if it burns it.
If your car keeps leaking oil out, then yes. I drove a car for 2 years without an oil change...well...with a constant oil change, rather. Everytime I'd check the levels during the 2 years the oil would be clean. Went through 1 quart a week. Thinking about it now, I should have just replaced the bad gaskets, but I never thought the car would last that long.
i wouldn't
If your burning it or leaking it then theres a problem. No you don't want to overfill it either. I would go get it changed or do it yourself every 3,000 miles.
