if you use amsoil every 40,000 kms or one 12mo


w/ regular oil every 3,000 km or 3 mo amd engine flush ones a year induction clean ones a year ingector clean ones every 6 mo im recomend amsoil im ben using amsoil fof mani year on my cars and on my 18 weeler amd bike

If you use castrol or lubromoly synthetic then I WOULD RECOMMED every 7000-8000km (4000-4500 miles). They say you can do 10,000km with synthetic, but dirt %26amp; gunk doesnt do your engine any justice. And I would recommend a Hot Flush once a year, do it at the same time as your oil change. Cost me $80. Good luck with your vehicle.





Forgot to mention the check oil light. I was going to say, but other have already, that it could possibly be a leak or your oil pump is toast.

I would check the oil level %26amp; that the oil filter is secure.
Check the level of the oil with the under the hood dipstick. I would guess it was not filled up to the proper level.
You may have a bad oil pressure sending switch or worse yet the oil pump went. The new standard is 7500 miles but the quick change places still like to promote the 3000 mile thing.
DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR WITH A CHECK OIL LIGHT ON!!!!





The check oil light means low oil pressure, check the oil level and see if it's full.





If you've driven the car any distance with the check oil light on you may have destroyed the engine.





That car will need an oil change about every 3,000.
if the oil level is fine then your oil pump is getting weak. 3000 miles or less if it has a big beefed up motor in it.
