Check the oil level on the dipstick. If it is normal, your oil pressure sending unit is bad.

??? Did you change the oil, or have it changed? It's not too uncommon for Jiffy Lube or other oil change shops to completely **** up and leave your drain plug out of the car so all the oil just flows straight out.

how long ago was the oil changed. i assume it has a northstar in it and they are known to leak. if it wasn't changed that long ago the oil filter might be double gasketed meaning when they removed the old oil filter the gasket stuck to the engine instead of the filter and they didn't catch it. when the new filter was installed it would not seal and spray out oil. check the dip stick to see if it is really low the filter could just be loose or the drain plug might not be tight and sealed
